Something black yet chic for the summer!
"Fashion is what you're offered up to four times a year by designers. And style is what you choose." ~Lauren Hutton
Hello kings and queens and welcome to yet another chit chat about fashion! This weeks discussion is all about that summer black we all have and how to wear is appropriately so that we still appear chic, but not heavy and blistering!
The weather as of late has still been a bit up and down, meaning it's extremely hot one day and rainy and chilly the next. (It's so hard to keep up) So it almost seems silly for you to put away your winter wardrobe just to realize winter may actually happen again in the middle of July! So on this day the weather just so happened to be rainy and cold! The color black has actually been one of my default colors if you follow me on IG you would agree. So this day just gave me the perfect excuse to wear it! This look is so simple I am sure everyone processes the pieces in your own closets to create! I threw on a pair of black slacks (only because I had to work) and a medium boys sized v neck hanes t shirt from Walmart, to create a laxed look, a black leather jacket and my new favorite over sized bow flats from Zara! Being chic doe not have to cost a lot of money regardless of what a few would say and it simply only takes a bit of imagination and confidence. I would say this look definitely screamed soho New York! (I am dying to get back to New York, if only I had to time!) However, in reality I'm located in the city of the country! If you try this look let me see your results!
