"A woman's dress should be like a barbed wire fence: serving its purpose without obstructing the view." ~Sophia Loren

Hello kings and queens and welcome to get another fashion forward post for the modern Elite. Or the individual daily fashion standard. Today's topic is all about great weather and festive pieces that reflect such. As many of you know the first round of Coachella took place last weekend and the second round will take place this weekend. If you made it to Coachella or not this year, the popular festival holds its own fashion trend weight across the nation. Since coachella is practically the love child that evolved from Woodstock you can imagine the beautiful pieces that will be wore. Very bohemian, loose fitting and free, so you will see a lot of fringe, suede, corsets, lace, flowly scarves, lace up sandals, poms, denim shorts, block heels and kimonos. ''Tis the season to wear your back out show off those tattoos and feel free! With Coachella on the brain I was instantly inspired to switch it up a bit and wear the free, but airy maxi, but I wanted to wear something a little sexier and found this gorgeous silk navy maxi with a slit. I happened to actually go to a live concert event downtown (my little Coachella experience) and with the weather finally acting accordingly it just seems like the perfect piece to wear. I paired this dress with my Gucci black slippers which happens to be on my favorites list for the season (I am sure I will wear them with everything!). I added small accessories to continue with my light as a feather look with a very thin rose gold rhinestone choker a thin gold bangle and messy hair. Not only was I extremely comfortable, but I was trendy and ready for the occasion!

As always comment below and give me your yay or nay!

Xoxo,
