Something for New Years Eve

Something for New Years Eve

"Fashion is a trend, style lives within a person" ~Oscar de la Renta

Merry Christmas and happy new year! I truly hope you are had as much fun as I did over the holidays! I am so excited to start this new year, I was practically crawling to the finish line of 2016. This year I can continue to bring you all the hottest trends and my latest looks! Within ringing in the new year this so happened to be the look I wore to celebrate the beginning of 2017! A very luxurious, very sophisticated, but very timeless ensemble. So on that note lets jump into "Something for New Years Eve". When we think of what to wear when going out to a new years eve party, we think of red, gold, sequin or something shiny right? That was my exact thought process as, but I work in the entertainment industry and I had to work before celebrating, and I came up with this look! Something still office appropriate, but still striking and in your face! You can never go wrong with the color red as I have stated a many of time before. So putting on this red caped blazer with this all black look was the icing on the cake! Personally I feel this look was a success. With a slicked back curly pony and a nice red statement belt, I knew I was a statement to be reckoned with!

The red blazer is from a cute boutique called Dress up and was purchased for $16.50 on sale was originally priced for $60 (a steal I know)

These black leather jeans are from the website riverisland.com and were purchased for $80; my black turtle neck is from forever 21 and was purchased for $7.50; my red belt is from Salvatore Ferragamo and my shoes are from Christian Louboutin.
