Something about red bottoms
The famous Christian Louboutin Red Sole..... Lets talk about. The pair that I got were the So Kate's in patent leather size 38! I was so excited to order my first pair, I went to the website us.christianlouboutin.com and found the pair I wanted! Then came the sizing part, well I considered since I wore an 8, 8.5, that I would go with a 38. In European sizes a 38 is equivalent to an 8 8.5. I remembered studying abroad in the UK and buying shoes there, all the shoes I brought were all 38's and they fit perfectly. So I decided to go with the 38. The shoes came and they were beautiful, I tried them on and they were very tight. I told my boyfriend and he told me it was a possibility I got the wrong size, I didn't listen to him, and said maybe they just need to be stretched, so I wore them around my house. If you only knew the pain!! They hurt so bad, so then I took them to a shoe repair to get them professionally stretched. I come back 2 days later and the owner tells me there was not much they could do because patent leather did not stretch. So graduation day comes, and I am like forget that I am wearing these shoes across this stage, so I created a plan. I brought my Gucci flip flops and wore them until it was time to process into the area we were graduating. I then put on the shoes before we walked in. My name was called, I walked across the stage, received my BA, went back to my seat and immediately put those flip flops back on! The pain.... I can't even describe. Well a few weeks later my boyfriend and I were in Atlanta and we just so happened to go to the Louboutin store. I asked the sales person if I could try the same shoe I had in a 39, he brought them out and they felt way better but, they were still a little tight. He then brought out an 39.5 and what do you know?? The pain stopped! I was relieved to know that it wasn't the shoe, but it was the size! I simply ordered the wrong size! Long story short ladies if you are going to buy a pair of red soles, do not go off your actual size. You need to go up a size and a half! Don't worry about your shoe or foot appearing long or big. The heel is so high your foot will still look fabulous! I really hope my testimony was helpful!
